Industry Symposium has been a successful satellite event of ICDCIT series. It started in the year 2011 with aim provide a bridge between the industry and academia. The symposium will be held during 19^th – 23^rd January, 2022 in conjunction with 18^th edition of ICDCIT. The symposium invites chapters on ‘Mobile Application Development: Practice and Experience’. The symposium is tailored to be useful for master, research students as well as industry professionals. The chapters selected by review process, will be included in a book. Like the previous editions, the book will be published by Springer Book Series (Approval Pending).

In last decade, there is a huge gain in the mobile application usages and development. Due to the portability and convenience of mobile devices, mobile apps have surpassed traditional desktop applications as the primary way of accessing the internet. Many users are depend on their smartphones for daily tasks such as reading, shopping, paying and chatting through mobile apps. Not only the mobile application has an impact for user but also it plays an important role in business. Many business companies are earning revenue using mobile application. So, the mobile application has an impact on society. Different from traditional desktop applications, mobile apps are typically developed under time-to-market pressure. The process of mobile app development is still not standardized and the methodology used for the development of mobile app is still inadequate. There is still lack of research works and insufficient understanding of real issues and challenges faced in the mobile app development. This book focuses on software engineering research and practice supporting any aspects of the mobile app development. We seek innovative papers that address requirements, analysis, generation, maintenance, evolution, testing or any other aspects of mobile apps development. Papers should describe new or improved ways to handle these aspects or address them in a more unified manner, discussing benefits, limitations, and costs of provided solutions.

1. Initially authors should submit an abstract along with affiliation details (around 500-700 words) through EasyChair Link : https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=12thindustrysymposiu for initial screening of the chapter.
2. Based on the acceptance of abstract each manuscript must be written in a tutorial style of chapters with expected manuscript length between 10,000 to 12,500 words. Manuscripts submitted for the book must be original, must not be previously published or currently under review anywhere. Please follow A4 page format, single column with 11 point Times New Roman font with 1.5 line spacing while submitting your manuscript as MS-Office document (template will be shared).
